On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to a centrally located hotel. In the afternoon, you have a tour briefing before enjoying the first of many delicious dining experiences at a local restaurant.

Drive to the 10th century capital of Hoa Lu and visit two temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and his successor Le Dai Hanh, followed by a boat trip exploring the magnificent limestone karsts of Tam Coc before travelling on to Ha Long.

On arrival at Ha Long Bay board your boat and cruise amongst the limestone karsts and explore the numerous caves before heading back to Ha Noi, stopping at Dong Tried ceramic village to view the centuries old traditional craftsmanship.

In the morning visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and his House on Stilts before flying to Hue. In Hue, explore its historical sites by cyclo including the imposing Imperial Citadel. Also visit Dong Ba Market before enjoying an evening banquet of Hue specialties

Today is spent visiting the Tomb of King Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel, followed by a lunch of vegetarian fare at a Buddhist Pagoda. In the afternoon visit Thien Mu Pagoda by boat and attend a cooking demonstration before enjoying a Royal Banquet with traditional music.

You travel to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass. In Hoi An, see its historical streets, Chinese assembly halls, old shop houses and the famous Japanese Bridge. In the afternoon tour the colourful market and attend a cooking demonstration, learning the secrets of local cuisine ingredients, which you later enjoy for dinner.

In the morning visit My Son, a former capital of the Champa Kingdom, admiring the remarkable towers that have withstood time, war and the elements. Returning to Hoi An at noontime, the day is yours to enjoy time at the beach, shopping or further exploration of Hoi An.

Flying to Ho Chi Minh City, walk through its busy streets and visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace and the Chinese District of Cho Lon. This evening enjoy a smorgasbord of southern dishes followed by a spectacular rooftop view of the city at night.

The day commences with a market tour before attending your cooking class at the Viet Nam Cookery Centre. After preparing a selection of traditional dishes, enjoy your cooking effort at lunch. The afternoon is free to explore and shop before an excellent dinner.

Travelling to My Tho, boarding your boat to cross the Mekong River, and navigate the numerous leafy island waterways and arrive at a fruit orchard. Here sample tropical fruit and learn about the Delta way of life. Lunch is a choice of exquisite Delta specialties before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Free at leisure until transferring to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for your ongoing flight.
