Highlights of the Tour

Tour Plan

On arrival in Phnom Penh you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon there will be a brief city orientation and a visit to the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre- Angkorian artefacts

Today visit the Royal Palace and the incredible solid silver- floored Silver Pagoda, the chilling Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and the ‘Killing Fields’ at Choeung Ek. Also visit one of Phnom Penh’s many vibrant markets

A long drive day take you to Banlung, capital of Ratanakiri Province. On the way you have the chance to swim in Boeng Yeak Lom Lake, before heading for Cha Ong Waterfall. At the end of the day walk up Eisey Pak Ta Mak Mountain to admire the sunset.

Another day is spent exploring Banlung and its surrounding Drive out to Ven Sai village to meet some ethnic minority groups and learn about their daily life. Afterwards will visit Ka Chanh Waterfall before returning to your hotel

Leaving Banlung, travel to Stung Treng, the most isolated province of Cambodia, and inhabited by about 25,000 people, most of them are farmers. From here take a boat ride out to historical Thala Bariwatt and then travel on to see Preah Ko temple built between the 7th and the 8th century

This morning take a boat ride to Kratie to observe water dolphins in the Mekong River. Later head back to your hotel and the remainder of the day is free for you to explore more places of interest in this town at your own pace

En route to Kompong Cham stop at a rubber plantation and the historical hill temples of Phnom Srei and Phnom Pros. As well stop to view the high-five peak temple adapted as the model for Banteay Srey

Travel to Kampong Thom situated on the banks of the Saen River and home to some of Cambodia’s most splendid cultural and natural heritage. Heading on to Siem Reap, stop at Sambor Prei Kuk Temples an important cultural and historical site

This morning set out for the nearby Angkor Thom city with its 600 years old temples and complete your exploration with a visit to the Bayon. Before returning to your hotel there is time to climb to the top of Bakeng a hill temple, to enjoy a wonderful sunset overlooking Angkor Wat

Continue to explore the Angkor Complex with Banteay Srei, Ta Prohm and Banteay Kdei temples. Later you’ll take in the big circuit including a visit to Preah Kanh, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup temples, before heading back to our hotel where you are free at leisure

This morning you cruise the floating fishing villages of Ton Le Sap Lake, the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one of the richest sources of freshwater fish in the world. You also tour the Artisans D’Angkor, a local carving school, followed by a visit to the Roluos Temple Group

You are free until transferring to the airport for your onward flight
