On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. After a welcome drink and tour briefing, you are free to explore the delights of Ha Noi’s colonial past

Your ‘warm up’ ride this morning takes us to the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, his humble House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda and onto the Temple of Literature before peddling to Hoa Lu Prison Museum and the Old Quarter. In the evening you enjoy a performance of traditional water puppetry

Crossing the Red River, you cycle through the rural countryside of the Red River Delta. Verdant rice fields, modest villages, placid water buffalos and toiling farmers punctuate the landscape as you head to the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, with its mystical limestone karsts

This morning is spent cruising amidst the bay’s staggering scenery, with opportunities to swim and explore the legendary caves. After a sumptuous seafood lunch head to the harbour and start to cycle back to Ha Noi, via Dong Trieu Ceramic Village and learn the secrets of this century’s old craft.

Today cycle to Hoa Binh, stopping to visit the hill tribe villages of the Muong and Dao minority groups. Here gain insight into a different way of life while savouring the generous hospitality of your hosts. Return to Ha Noi, you are free until boarding your overnight train to Hue

Arrive Hue in the morning and cycle along the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. Board a Dragon Boat and sail up the Perfume River to the inspiring tomb of King Ming Mang before returning to gentle bustle of Hue

Today visit the Imperial Citadel before cycling over the Hai Van Pass to Da Nang. Crossing the Han River, you follow the coastal road through Marble Mountains and China Beach to the atmospheric old merchant town of Hoi An

A morning tour through the narrow heritage streets of Hoi An with its 200-year-old houses, Japanese covered bridge, temples and vibrant market offer a fascinating experience. In the afternoon relax with a swim at nearby Cua Dai beach

Leaving the charms of Hoi An behind you cycle through the rice fields of central Viet Nam, observing busy rural life first hand. You visit the My Lai Memorial a moving and poignant reminder to the horrors of war before cycling into Quang Ngai.

A combination of driving and cycling takes you through spectacular coastal scenery to Qui Nhon. As you approach this one time fishing village there is the opportunity to cycle less trafficked roads and explore the striking ruins of the region’s Cham Towers.

Today’s route is lined with dramatic granite cliffs, salt fields and shrimp farms as you make your way to Nha Trang, passing through the picturesque bay and fishing village of Dai Lanh and on to your destination for today

Taking a rest from cycling, you cruise through the islands of Nha Trang Bay. Snorkeling, swimming, and fresh seafood at fishing village can be enjoyed before returning to the port. In the evening you can enjoy delights of massages and manicures or head out to enjoy the areas night life

The steep ascent of Ngoan Muc Pass brings with it the reward of the South Central Highlands cooler climate and fresh crisp air. You cycle through pineclad hillsides, orchards of fruit, flower gardens, and vegetable farms to Prenn Falls and onto the old French Hill Station of Da Lat

The morning is spent exploring the central market, visiting Emperor Bao Dai’s summer palace, cycling around the lake and discovering the fascinating architecture of the old French Villas. You descend into the frenetic bustle and energy of Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon

After visiting the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum, you cycle to Cho Lon, Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown and Binh Tay Market. In the afternoon you head to Cu Chi to explore the remarkable and intricate underground tunnel network before returning to Ho Chi Minh City

Free at leisure until transferring to the airport for your departure flight
