On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After a welcome drink and tour briefing enjoy a performance of Viet Nam’s unique traditional Water Puppetry

Today tour President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and House on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature, followed by a tour of Hoa Lu Prison Museum and the Museum of Ethnology. After enjoying the tranquility of Hoan Kiem Lake there will be time to explore Ha Noi’s Old Quarter

Travel to Ha Long Bay with a stop at Dong Trieu ceramic village. Arrive and board your junk to enjoy sumptuous seafood lunch while cruising through the magnificent bay. You will also explore one of the beautiful caves and swim with a chance after dinner to experience some night fishing

Today navigate a small rowboat through a low roofed cave and enjoy some quiet time in the lagoon. A final lunch is served on board as you are transferred to another boat to cruise slowly to Cat Ba Island. The remainder of the day is free to explore the island at your own pace

There is a visit to the National Park which is rich with fauna and flora, and trekking paths that will lead you to Viet Hai fishing village, from where you are met by our boat and transferred to Cat Ba harbour

You have free time to explore the island’s beautiful Cat Co Beach or the beach front market before you take a Hydrofoil to Hai Phong, from where your bus will transfer you to Ha Noi

This morning you leave Ha Noi and drive through rural countryside to the 10th century capital of Hoa Lu and on to Tam Coc where you navigate the river’s limestone outcrops by rowboat, discovering ancient temples and exploring the caves of Tam Coc. In the late afternoon you head back to Ha Noi’s railway station for your overnight train to Lao Cai

Arriving Lao Cai in the morning you are transferred to Sa Pa, an old French Hill Station. After breakfast at the hotel the day is free to explore Sa Pa Town, meeting with the local minority people that gathering around the market to sell their produce, dressed in their traditional colourful clothing

Walk today along a trail with beautiful gardens to the Black Hmong ethnic minority village of Ma Tra, visit a local school for children from the ethnic minorities before commencing the afternoon trek to the red Dao minority village of Ta Phin. From here head back to your hotel

This morning with a team of Black H’Mong porters, you head for Sin Chai village. After about 3hrs you will stop for lunch. Continuing climbing, you arrive at your campsite at approx. 2500m and erect your tents for your overnight stay. It is time to enjoy dinner and the local nocturnal sounds before retiring for the night

Climbing upwards, at about noon you will reach Fansipan’s Summit and enjoy a spectacular view over Laos and China while resting. There is time to have a break and lunch before strolling down to our base camp

This morning you move slowly to Sa Pa passing through a rainforest that gradually gives way to huge stands of bamboo. Upon arriving at your hotel, you have time to take a shower before having lunch. Late afternoon transfer to Lao Cai for your over night train journey to Ha Noi

Arriving in Ha Noi in the morning you are free until transferring to the airport for your departure flight
